Video

Okay, part of my schtick is I never get offended. So how am I the only one who actually thinks this Onion video goes too far?

UPDATE: No, the girl in the story isn’t real. I’m gonna pretend those of you who assumed I was talking about her are just being very clever.

  1. generic1 answered: Wow. You guys are tsking like they’re not mocking someone who talks about violent overthrow every night. The Onion’s just taking it further.
  2. sciencevsromance answered: it’s funny, though maybe the mother weeping beck’s name is overplayed by a sob or two.
  3. steampoweredmedia answered: It’s not offensive; it’s just not funny. A lot of Onion stuff is like that these days
  4. bookmole answered: Is she real?I mean, this is The Onion…
  5. yayaa answered: damn. I’m not ‘offended’ - I’m dissapointed.

Broken. Not funny. I’m not offended,...surprised, and a little embarrassed.
  7. tbridge answered: They kinda took it a bit too far.
  8. aedison answered: I think there’s a difference between wishing death on someone and saying it’s a shame death happened to someone else instead.
  9. reallykatie answered: yeah…this is gross. i’m sure her parents loved it.
  10. eequalsmckenna answered: I don’t like to wish people to die.
  11. evangotlib answered: Wow. I…I…wow. I wish it was Glenn Beck feeling so conflicted right now and not me.
  12. ladawn answered: I’m probably going to hell for laughing as hard as I did at that.
  13. atencio answered: I’m offended that legendary comedian / actor Craig Anton is portrayed as a black man.
  14. andrewmcclain answered: Um, you don’t hate Glen Beck enough?
