FYI: My girlfriend doesn’t like the Twilight books

As she yelled when she saw I accidentally implied that she thinks people should read “Twilight” if they want, “They’re abstinence-only allegories that advocate subjugating yourself to a man who, if he really loves you, will not touch you at all. They’re damaging to young women’s understanding of sexuality, relationships, and sense of self.”
