Do you know TypePad very well? (I’m a needy little bitch)

I want to host a webcomic on TypePad. I want navigation buttons above each daily comic, and I want to make a daily text post to go with each comic, and I want that text post to be separated from the comic like on Dinosaur Comics and Hark! A Vagrant. (Click “previous” about five times on either one to get the picture.)

I have a great and helpful contact at TypePad, but she hasn’t seen many webcomics using their CMS. Most professional-looking webcomics are on hand-coded sites, and some are on a special WordPress plug-in called ComicPress. But if I use TypePad, I don’t have to worry about getting charged a hundred bucks if a comic lands on Digg. So I want to make it work, and this main text-post-semi-attached-to-comic-strip issue seems solvable. I just don’t know how.

Do you?
