A few weeks ago, I missed Adam Lisagor’s exhaustive (but not exhausting!) response to my iPad objections. So here it is.
I have further counter-arguments, but with each iteration of this discussion I’m less sure and more open to nuance, while Adam has fully fleshed out his thoughts on how this device fits into the progression of Apple technology, which I think means we got exactly what we wanted from this discussion and nobody even got to invoke Hitler.
So I almost got what I wanted.
