Obama, McCain talk issues at pastor's forum
Not a debate but a discussion, and a great move on Obama’s part as he moves in for the evangelical vote that he so richly deserves.
In my Christian community growing up, it was a given that everyone would vote for the Republican for president. My dad broke ranks to vote for Clinton twice; I think both of my parents voted for Bush, at least in 2000. I haven’t asked them yet whether they’ll vote for Obama (they’re in New York state anyway, not a swing state), but I personally hope I can convince them Obama is a good choice for an Evangelical.
